Wine clubs are a great way to try out new wines and learn new things about the world of wine.  At The Oak Barrel we want our wine club to introduce members to new styles of wine, new grapes and new techniques.  And of course, we will pick great tasting wines because that is what wine is really all about!

The May selections have been made and are waiting for interested customers to pick up. We are starting out our first Wine Club selections with two French wines, a white and a red. The cost before taxes is $37. The wine club discount is built into that price.

In the future we will be taking memberships. We’ll explain that more in depth in the future, but essentially it means that we will take your credit card information and charge your credit card for the monthly cost of the wines we select.  The price will vary between $35 and $45.  The wine club will be a monthly event.  Over time we will adjust the wine club options with input from our customers on considerations like having different price levels, reds, whites or a mix, etc.

Having a membership for the wine club will allow us to get better prices.  The more members, the more wine we can buy to negotiate better prices.  We will pass this savings on to our wine club members. The wine club selections will be available from May 1^st to May 14^th when we will put the remaining bottles of the selections on the shelf at the regular price.
